It’s not easy to “catch” a bird in flight or a pronghorn on the run. Photography expert Bob Dean will present the basics of image capture and the “art” of getting just what you want, for both beginners and those with more experience. Your equipment need not be professional level; it can be a point-and-shoot digital camera or a more complex adjustable camera. You’ll examine still images, and take a quick look at how to get video clips. Try out what you’ve learned during a half-day field trip to the Denver Zoo, and then receive a critique of your images during the final session. Dean is freelance nature and travel photographer with 35 years of experience. See his work @ www.viewsofnaturephoto.com.
