6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
As summer begins its slow fade, the vibrancy of the foothills is on the rise! In the coniferous forest of Genesee, nesting birds have fledged their young. The trees and meadows are abuzz with broad-tailed hummingbirds. Nuthatches abound, swallows work the treetops for flying insects, and warblers and tanagers arrive from the mountains. Lair o’ the Bear Park attracts waxwings, sparrow fledglings, lesser goldfinches, gnatcatchers, towhees, and more. Transportation is not included. Participants caravan from a meeting location.
All sales are final unless the Museum cancels the program.
