May 24, 2014
6:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Join us for what always proves to be one of our best outings of the year, when we may see McCown’s and chestnut-collared longspurs, lark bunting, and western meadowlark. The “migrant trap” at Crow Valley is always good for warblers, flycatchers, and sparrows. We will also stop at several marshes and lakes to find Virginia rail, marsh wren, and possibly an American bittern. We should see a nice variety of ducks, shorebirds, pelicans, cormorants, and swallows along the way. All sales are final unless the Museum cancels the program.
