October 7, 2014
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening with newly retired Richard Stucky. Stucky wore many hats during his 30-plus years at the Museum, from volunteer to chief curator to vice president, before retiring as curator of paleoecology and evolution. Stucky returns to the Museum to consider how humans have changed over the past 250 years since the original publication of Encyclopedia Britannica in 1764, then called a “Dictionary of Arts and Sciences.” Stucky will explore science, music, art, war, economics, politics, collecting fossils in Wyoming, evolution, and species extinction. Since retiring, Stucky has refocused on his passion for creating art and will integrate some of his works into his talk.
All sales are final unless the Museum cancels the program.
