November 16 & 23, December 7 & 14
9:00 a.m – 11:00 a.m.
Resident dinosaur expert Joe Sertich takes you on a prehistoric journey through the rise and fall of dinosaurs. The journey isn’t all prehistoric—you will also hear about current research and the recent discovery by Sertich of a new species, Dahokely tokana, which made headlines this past spring. A visit to the “Big Bone Room,” where the Museum currently houses most of the paleontology collections, is included. Students will choose one date for a one hour tour beginning at 11 am. This course is an elective for the Paleontology Certification Program; however, there are no prerequisites.
All sales are final unless the Museum cancels the program.
